Thua Thien Hue calls for investment in 20 projects in the period of 2021 – 2022 in economic zones and industrial zones with a total estimated investment capital of hundreds of trillions dong.

a) The project approves the investment policy and simultaneously approves the investor implement the project with the total estimated investment capital of 10,000 billion VND for 06 projects.
In which, there are 02 construction investment projects for ports 4 & 5 with an investment of 1,000 billion VNĐ/project, an area of 10.2 hectares/project with the goal of building a container port to serve ships with a tonnage of 50,000 DWT berth at the Port Area. 03 investment projects construct industrial zones infrastructure for business with a total investment capital of 7550 billion VND, with an area of 1470 hectares. And 01 investment project on a clean water plant in Phu Loc district with a total investment capital of 450 billion VND, the goal is to build a water supply plant with a capacity of 55,000 m3/day and a clean water supply system.
b) Bidding project to select investors with the total estimated investment capital of 88,598 billion VND for 10 projects.
There are 04 Chan May urban area projects in the central location (1000 ha, capital of 35,000 billion); along Bu Lu river (420 ha, capital 14,700 billion); along Bu Lu bridge (52 ha, capital 1820 billion); along Thua Luu bridge (18.5 ha, capital of 648 billion). 01 housing project in Lang Co town (3.6 ha, capital 38 billion). 01 Lang Co – Lap An beach tourism project (126 ha, capital 10,000 billion). 01 project of Canh Duong urban area (270 ha, capital of 25,000 billion). 01 Chan May service center project (2.4 hectares, capital 400 billion). 01 project of the logistics service area (46 hectares, capital of 1,600 billion). 01 project of Chan May Sailor Club (0.5 ha, capital 50 billion).

Industrial Zones in the province with total estimated investment capital of 2,839 billion VND.
The industrial zones in the province are all part of the project that approves the investment policy and also approves the investor to implement the project.
a) Phong Dien Industrial zone
Investment in construction and business of infrastructure with total estimated investment capital of 964 billion VND, area of 120 ha.
b) Phu Da Industrial Zone (Phu Vang)
Investment in construction and business of infrastructure with a total estimated investment capital of 825 billion VND, with an area of 165 hectares.
c) Son La Industrial Zone (Phu Loc)
02 projects, of which 01 project produces wood products for export with an area of 20 hectares, investment capital of 450 billion; 01 project of Ceramic tiles production factory-Frit with an area of 20 hectares, investment capital of 600 billion.
